2025 Viva Summit

Those interested in encouraging more physical activity, gardening spaces, and outdoor activity opportunities in your communities - YOU ARE INVITED!

Please see attached flyer, announcing the VIVA Summit to be held in Mescalero on Monday April 28th.

The event is free, with breakfast and lunch provided. Registration is required; there are a limited number of spots!

The focus of this summit, held by UNM Policy Research Center - VIVA Program is: Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) changes to create more opportunities for physical activity, outdoors time, gardening and nutritional foods in NM rural communities.

This event is funded through NM Health's Comprehensive Cancer Program. There are also local sponsors in support of the meals! (please see attached flyer.)

The event includes a mid-morning walk along Lake Mescalero. Dress in layers!
