100% Cultura! A 100% Mural Celebration
You’re invited June 25th to an inspiring community celebration in Española, part of the 100% Rio Arriba initiative to ensure vital services for all families.
Across 15 counties, 100% New Mexico initiatives are bringing stakeholders together to celebrate culture, collaboration and caring. In beautiful Española, the 100% Rio Arriba initiative is launching its second 100% Mural Project, as an opportunity for community members to come together and unite in the mission of strengthening vital family services for thriving.
The 100% Rio Arriba initiative is a groundbreaking strategy that lifts all residents up, with local projects that strengthen medical care, behavioral healthcare, food security programs, affordable housing, transportation, parent supports, early childhood learning programs, fully-resourced community schools, youth mentor programs, and job training.
At the first 100% Regional Summit, held in Northern New Mexico June 8th, change agents from across ten counties came together to share their plans for building the services shown to heal and empower families and communities. Summit participant New Mexico State Senator Leo Jarmajillo shared:
Mission: The 100% New Mexico initiative is dedicated to ensuring that 100% of families can access ten vital services crucial for their overall health, resilience, and success. This university-sponsored endeavor necessitates the local implementation of evidence-based strategies encompassing both community and school-based service hubs, aiming to prevent the most pressing and costly public health and safety challenges, including adverse social determinants of health and adverse childhood experiences.
